Lecture Meetings
The next lecture meeting will be on Tuesday 6th April 2010
at 7.30pm.
Prof. Michael Merrifield of Nottingham University is the lecturer and his talk 'How to build a galaxy' is sure to be facinating so don't miss it!
Whether you are a member or a first time visitor, you will be made very welcome to enjoy this lecture.
New CCD Camera
for the Society
The society now has its own CCD Telescope Camera which is a cause of great excitement as we have been wanting one for a long time but lacked the funds to buy one. The first results are positive but we still have a way to go to master the new technology. Check out the results HERE or come along on Tuesday nights to see it working.
Organised Visits
If you are interested in coming along to the observatory,
or would like to bring a party such as Guides, Scouts, Cubs or a school
