Impressive photographs.

Recently we have been having some discussions about upgrading the tracking system on the Society Telescope so that members can take the first steps at achieving high quality results as posted.

10 years ago or so I recall members commenting that the position of the Society Observatory so near to Lincoln city center and ever increasing sky glow would eventually limit observing to a few bright objects. However as proved with photos posted here, digital cameras, filters and modern mounts (with motivation and expertise) can produce great results that have reduced the impact of light pollution considerably.

Thank you for posting the inspiration photographs.
